The Canon FTb is one of those solid, no-nonsense film cameras from the golden era of 35mm.

It’s a fully mechanical SLR with a Canon FD lens mount and a through-the-lens (TTL) light meter to help guide exposure. The shutter runs entirely mechanically, so the camera keeps working even without batteries (you only need them for the meter).
